Parking
There is no admission fee for entering, climbing, hiking, and enjoying nature in Muir Valley. Visitors are required to enter through the designated entrance in the main parking lot (behind the pavilion, take the North or South trail.) Walk-ins and drop offs are welcome.
Those parking a vehicle in Muir Valley need to purchase a daily parking permit. When open, purchase a daily parking permit from the attendant at the kiosk located on Fincastle Rd (Just before the turn for the main parking lot.) If the parking kiosk is unattended, purchase a daily parking permit via our honor parking system in the main parking lot. Cash or credit via our online checkout are accepted. Follow the instructions on the sign at the pavilion in the main lot. *Vehicles parked without a pass may be towed.
*All visitors to Muir Valley must sign the Muir Valley Waiver prior to entering the property.
Membership and Annual Pass
